Halloween Re-Cap

No need to worry citizens. Ian and Nathan are on the scene and ready to take charge!! Here are my little heroes right before the night of trick or treating began!! Both of them absolutely loved the whole thing!! We went for a good hour and Ian wanted to keep going! They got SOOO much candy I can't even believe it!
This was Thursday night (night before Halloween). We kind of did all our Halloween stuff in the last week. The favorite part of this was - of course -- the grossness of the pumpkin slim! Silly Boys.
Everyone who knows me knows that I LOVE the holidays crafts and fun treats. This year I didn't do as much as I wanted. Here is one I saw on TV. You take a melon baller and scoop out the apple. Poke a stick in it - dip in the carmel and then into sprinkles, nuts, smashed candy, whatever. It was easy for the boys to do and even easier to eat!!

And of course the candy haunted house. Ian asked Grandma for one so guess what Ian got . . . yes the haunted house. Ian got to stay up late one night and play with candy and frosting. Can you spell s-p-o-i-l-e-d? :)

I like the melon ball-apple idea. I can NEVER finish an entire candy apple :) I'm glad you guys had a fun Halloween and also a fun time in Utah!
